Establishing demographic reference condition procedures for Italian river fish bioindicator

چکیده
The Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC (WFD) requires Member States of the European Union (EU) to use a pool bioindicators, that is, Biological Quality Elements (BQEs), including fish species and each State shall, in fact, certify compliance with ecological quality goals WFD. New Italian Index Ecological Fish Communities (NISECI) is WFD-compliant index for analysis BQE river water bodies, both wadable non-wadable, are not (using WFD definitions) heavily modified or artificial. relate conditions found field reference corresponding absence anthropogenic alterations minor alterations. present study defines logical basis on model refinement metrics submetrics NISECI relating biological condition indigenous non-indigenous species. was tested an empirical using data from 284 ichthyological samplings taken basins throughout Italy. In order clean random errors stochastic noise due possible different sampling methods, only collected protocols guarantee adequately homogeneous reliable abundance (overall by size). developed approach provided comparable results watersheds; this allowed standardized robust threshold values demographic parameters NISECI. procedure used, consistent spatially based expert judgement approaches envisaged WFD, improves analytical performance increasing its power resolution applicable every zoogeographic context.

First observation of fish condition from Sava river in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Condition factor of fish species is very important parameter for understanding fish biology and pathology. For that purpose, we sampled 120 fish individuals from the Sava River at four locations (Posavina region), where most of them belongs to the Cyprinidae family while the others belonging to the families: Percidae, Siluridae, Ameiuridae, Esocidae and Gobiidae. In total fish sample we found t...
متن کاملNumerical Boundary Condition Procedures
In this paper we study the stability of finite difference approximations to initial-boundary hyperbolic systems. As is well-known, a proper specification of boundary conditions for such systems is essential for their solutions to be well-defined. We prove a discrete analogue of the above if the numerical boundary conditions are consistent with an inflow part of the problem, they render the over...

Introduction: An operational computed tomography (CT) scanner is a major source of human exposure to ionizing radiation. Exposure increases the risk of cancer and aplastic anaemia. All radiation exposures should be justified and optimized to meet the clinical objective. In order to avoid the administration of excessive radiation dose to patients, diagnostic reference l...

15 صفحه اولCertification Infrastructure Reference Procedures
Implementations of security services in a global network are strongly based on asymmetric cryptography, which in turn depends on a public key certification infrastructure. Its properties and behaviour should prevent threats. Moreover, the infrastructure should be efficiently manageable and it should meet users' expectations regarding trust. Flexible guidelines and procedures are given in this p...
